2 - 5:30 Kickback supper *at the Drury Inn, Des Moines

Monday - Start off our trip with a stop at The Old Creamery Quilt Shop at Randall and Calico Hutch at Hayward. We will stop for lunch and supper before arriving at our hotel for the evening. We are staying at the Sleep Inn & Suites, Charles City.

Tuesday - Our first stop will be the Cotton Creek Mill at West Branch IA. Then onto a Pizza Ranch to "power up" before arriving at Hannibal. The hotel we are staying at is the Best Western on the River. It is downtown and the Hickory Stick Quilt store is one block away and it is only two blocks from the river. You will have time to shop, eat dinner on your own and explore. There is a lot of Mark Twain history here and the museum is also very close to the hotel.

Wednesday - We will arrive at Missouri Star in Hamilton about 10 am for a day of shopping. At 3:15 we will board the bus and travel to West Des Moines where we will stay for two nights at a Drury Inn. They offer a "5:30 Kickback" which is a free supper and includes two drink tickets that you can use for wine, beer or mixed drinks (pop, coffee, milk are available at no charge).

Thursday - We will be stopping at Woodside Quilting, Iowa Quilt Block (very good store with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby) and Winterset. Winterset also has a Quilt Museum which I hear is amazing.

Friday - The fun continues as we travel north and stop at GE Designs and Gruber’s Quilt Shop. We will also stop to eat along the way!

The cost is (per person based on how many in a room) $550 for a double, $809 single and $463 triple or $420 quadruple

A $75 deposit is due at registration. The balance is due by August 26th.
