Preschool Skills

Ages 4 & 5 not in Kindergarten during the 25-26 school year.

Build the preschool skills needed for a confident start in kindergarten! This class focuses on developing and strengthening foundational skills through play-based learning and structured routines. Children will practice early literacy and math skills such as letter and number recognition, counting, and early writing. In addition, we will work on important preschool skills like following directions, participating in group activities, taking turns, and building independence. This class helps children strengthen the skills they need to feel ready and successful in a kindergarten classroom.


Bugs & Backyard Explorers

Get ready to explore the great outdoors! In this hands-on class, little learners will become backyard explorers as they search for bugs, go on nature scavenger hunts, and discover the world right outside their door. Children will use tools like magnifying glasses, create fun bug-themed crafts, and learn about insects through play and exploration. This class encourages curiosity, observation, and early science skills while building confidence in outdoor environments.


Messy Art & Sensory Play

Let’s get messy! In this creative and sensory-rich class, children will explore a variety of hands-on art experiences using paint, textures, and materials that engage all the senses. From shaving cream painting and splatter art to sensory bins and hands-on exploration, this class encourages creativity, experimentation, and self-expression. Perfect for little learners who love to explore, create, and get a little messy along the way!


Camping & Outdoor Adventure

Calling all little campers! This playful class brings the magic of camping to life through imaginative play and hands-on activities. Children will set up pretend campsites, go on mini nature adventures, sing campfire songs, and participate in fun activities like scavenger hunts and storytelling. With a mix of movement, creativity, and social play, this class helps build friendships, independence, and a love for the outdoors—no bug spray required!

These classes are designed to give your child an extension of preschool. Parents will drop off and pick up their child.
