In this class, you will learn the basic skills that you can apply to all of your favorite subjects. We will talk about each of the three primary settings that make up every camera: shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. We will talk about how they work, which settings work best for which subjects, and the limitations inherent in each of the three settings. We will also dive deep into the artistic side where we will touch on topics like composition, point of view, color balance, nighttime photography, and so much more. Many of the topics we will cover apply to both those fancy dSLRs as well as the camera in your phone (though, your phone s camera will be more limited). Each class will introduce you to several concepts, show you how to set the controls on your camera, and give you an assignment using those concepts.
