Art Workshops with Internationally and Nationally known artists

for Ages 8-12

At the Nemeth Art Center

Daniel Kerkhoff - Join us for a very special opportunity to create art with Daniel Kerkhoff, one of our exhibiting artists this spring at the Nemeth Art Center. Students will focus on the process of creating a collage composition starting with simple shape drawing and then transforming their project with paint and collected papers. Daniel has plans to inspire the participants with photos of children making art all over the world. You are invited to come explore creative expression at the Nemeth Art Center.

Nate Young & Caroline Kent - Join us for a very special art workshop opportunity! Artist Nate Young exhibiting at the Nemeth Art Center and Caroline Kent, will be offering a one-day workshop for children on June 26th. Nate and Caroline will guide you through the tactile process of shaping paper clay and learning about color layering with paint. You are invited to come explore creative expression with Nemeth Art Center artists.

Nancy Friedemann-Sanchez & Charley Friedman - Join us for a very special opportunity to create art with two exhibiting artists at the Nemeth Art Center. Nancy Friedemann-Sanchez and Charley Friedman will be exhibiting this summer at the Nemeth Art Center. Coinciding with their exhibit, Nancy and Charley will be offering a one-day workshop for children. Surrounded by the artist s work in the gallery, you will be creating collages and hand puppets.

All materials are provided and included in the registration fee.

Classes are held at the Nemeth Art Center Main Gallery, 301 Court Avenue, Park Rapids.
