Course Catalog

Want to become a better writer?  This class, taught by a former journalist/English teacher, will hone participants skills in various forms of writing.  It is designed to bring writing skills up to a desired level and to develop strategies to write more efficiently.  The class will include a review of technical writing, a basic systematic review of the English language, and a look at some of the common mistakes writers make.  Participants will have an opportunity to practice writing styles from cover letters to the basic fundamentals of journalism, and how to write for the media.
