NLOKids Theatre Camp
Ages 8-13
NLOKids, presented by Northern Light Opera Company in cooperation with Pine Point School, is offering its 7th annual Theater Camp, a 3 part intensive theater-making experience! Students will create their own play with music to perform for the Park Rapids and Pine Point communities. Everything will be created by kids - sets, costumes, music, script, publicity - with lots of theater games and acting/vocal exercises to build confidence and forge friendships.
Instructors: NLOKids is led by the NYC directors from Northern Light Opera Company, along with seasoned teachers and student directors.
This camp will be broken into different sections. Students are welcome to come to 1 or more sections.
Playwriting & Improv with guest artist Melanie Goodreaux
Design & Song-writing with guest artists Gina Singer & Lisa Dove
Rehearsal and Production with guest artists Jeffrey Nolan & Hawken Paul
Performance will be Friday, July 14 at Pine Point Community Center & Saturday, July 15 at Park Rapids Armory.

Students will be transported from Century School to either Pine Point School. School bus transportation to Pine Point School is available from the Century School at 9:30, returning at 2:30. **The majority of these will be held at Pine Point School, not PR Armory.
